4 Major Training Components

•    Full-Time Coaches with the experience and expertise in player development making sure the players receive proper instruction, consistent feedback, and the motivation necessary for optimal training.  Dean Talafous, former NHL Player and Division 1 College Coach, has developed all programs and training.

•    On-Ice Skill Development – The On-Ice Skill Sessions will include repetitive, up-tempo skating and puck handling drills. Our goal is to develop a player’s ability to keep their feet moving quickly, (without slowing down) while handling a puck and keeping their head up. We take these skills and incorporate them into game- like situations; where they will learn to react quicker, play smarter and develop a competitive edge.

•    On-Ice Small Games – 3 on 3 half ice game format where players immerse themselves into the action. Their hockey instincts will improve through trial and error and by receiving positive feedback from our coaches. With little standing around and lots of puck touches, players will develop confidence in a fun environment.

•    Off-Ice Training – Players will benefit from Total Hockey – Northeast Wisconsin renowned Skill Development System.  Players will improve all their hockey skills becoming a more confident player on the ice. All players will receive their own Total Hockey Scan Card which gives the player immediate feedback as well as performance tracking throughout the program.
